Why did you leave this out? Sounds like the most exciting part of the story, practically a feat of social engineering!!!

Haha. I'll make sure to be more detailed in the future. I didn't want to make the anecdote too long, but I'll go for it next time!

Go for it! The delight is in the details with stories like that one ;-)

This was an interesting article with a great catchy title totally appropriate for our passive screen-dominated times: but I’m curious about the details--after dissuading other drivers from getting on the highway did you all reverse and drive back down the entrance ramp??? How many? We need the nitty gritty details 😉🤣

We were able to turn around 4 lanes of traffic (3 regular lanes, 1 shoulder lane) into the entrance ramp. It was so hard in the beginning because people didn't believe, but slowly they realized it was the best path. Out of about 250 cars, only 20 refused to turned around. Notable cars turned around include a FedEx truck, a RTD (local transit) bus, a Mercedes van-life van, and a pickup truck with an attached trailer lugging garden equipment. I spent about 45 minutes directing traffic and convincing drivers. I literally walked to them, ask them to lower their window and explained the situation about turning around. Most listened, some didn't. If you need, more details, let me know. I have plenty lol.
