Thanks for sharing the 20-5-3 rule! I'd never heard of it before, but thinking back, I definitely felt my best when I was spending time outdoors consistently. This has been a reminder for me to get back into that habit, even with the shorter days.
One thing--your post says "20 minutes each week" but the article you link recommends 20 minutes, 3x a week. Just a heads up!
Be careful here. The difference between an event occasioned depression and chronic depression is unfathomably wide. The first happens to everyone. If it were the latter, those pills YOU didn’t need might have been a lifeline.
This is very true and that's why I focused on the environmental one more than chronic. I hope that was clear from the article. Appreciate the feedback though. I want to be sensitive to people who are struggling with chronic depression.
This resonates with me. I wrote a piece on something similar recently. Feel free to check it out:

Would love to hear your thoughts!
Great post, Jose.

Thanks! I'll make that correction :)
It is definitely a great rule to follow for multiple reasons. Physical, mental, and overall health improves when we are outdoors :D
10/10 post Jose!!
